Bioshock

Description

BioShock is a "genetically enhanced", action-adventure, horror-themed first person shooter. While exploring the underwater dystopia, Rapture, the player is urged to turn everything into a weapon: biologically modifying their own body with Plasmids, hacking devices and systems, upgrading their weapons, crafting new ammo variants, and experimenting with different battle techniques are all possible.

BioShock takes place in 1960, where Jack, the sole survivor of a plane crash in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, discovers the entrance to the recluse underwater city of Rapture, at the end of a civil war which left most of it in disrepair. Finding himself trapped in a strange and dangerous dystopia, and with only a mysterious man called Atlas helping him, Jack has no choice but to fight for his survival against Rapture's mutated and monstrous denizens, using all types of weapons and genetic enhancements, as he searches for a way to return to the surface.

Possibly one of the greatest games of all time. Fantastic atmosphere and story, and entertaining all the way through. 100% recommended!

A true and utter masterpiece. When this came out it definitely set the bar in story telling and overall gameplay, a story about the grand underwater city of Rapture, all it's mayor characters, the story of greed, lunacy and how in the end everything gets back to it's place. Bioshock is an amazing game, I'm amazed this was never screened into one of those big movies nowadays.

Amazing game back in the days, i played it to death. Sadly the build didn't age well and has alot of technical issues. I would recommend the 'remaster' but that game isn't that much better in terms of bugs and stability.

The best part of BioShock series so far, simply a masterpiece. Sure, the gameplay's solid, smooth, fun, and plasmids system are quite innovative, but that's not what makes "Bioshock" a masterpiece; it's the story. You get a chance to see that a world without morals are doomed to fail, even so beautiful, like Rapture.
