Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Description

The plot begins six years after the events of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind in 3E 433. Emperor Uriel Septim VII is assassinated as he attempts to flee from the Imperial City after learning that assassins have killed his sons. However, before his death, he hands the Amulet of Kings over to the person who would become the Hero of Kvatch, a lowly prisoner which Uriel had seen in his dreams, with instructions to "close shut the jaws of Oblivion."

Oblivion is set in Cyrodiil on the continent of Tamriel. Cyrodiil, due to its proximity to all of the other provinces of Tamriel, is a varying land with the geography being swampy marsh-lands, snowy mountains, and mountainous forests and green fields. The province has nine counties and nine regions: Anvil in the Gold Coast, Bravil in the Nibenay Valley, Bruma in the Jerall Mountains, Cheydinhal in the Valus Mountains, Chorrol in the Colovian Highlands, the Imperial City in the Heartlands, Kvatch in the Gold Coast, Leyawiin in Blackwood, and Skingrad in the West Weald, each with a capital of the same name as the county.

If u have lots of memories with this game like me,so there are no second thoughts! Just buy it and live inside it again! But if u haven't already played this game before, you really should try it to know some of the most important race and hoods and groups origins like dark brother hoods and Khajiits !

I cant believe I never reviewed this game! Some people hate bethesda games, I for one love them. This game is old but it is still my favorite RPG. Because of mods. I am not one of those lunatics that think developers use modders to "fix" their games. I think modders are the finest of all us gamers and have a desire to create things that could be improved on.

I might be biased, but I remember sitting and watching my grandfather play this game when it first came out so it's a bit of a nostalgia factor. I love it however, even with it's weird graphics and glitches. Maybe partly due to the restrictions in the technology when produced it runs great on older/cheaper computers.

The hours that I've sunk into this game will attest that it is one of the best game of all time. It's certainly my favorite game to date. The shivering isles DLC is probably the single best DLC I've ever seen. The sense of adventure and wonder that this game portrays is something you just dont see anymore. Even games like Skyrim and the Fallout games just can't compete with this universe. Best game ever, 1,000,000/The Nine Divine
