The Division 2

Description

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is an online action role-playing video game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The sequel to Tom Clancy's The Division (2016), it is set in a near-future Washington, D.C. in the aftermath of a smallpox pandemic, and follows an agent of the Strategic Homeland Division as they try to rebuild the city. The game was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 15, 2019. It received generally favorable reviews from critics, with most noting it as an improvement over the first installment.

Played from a third-person perspective, the game is a cover-based third-person shooter with up to four players being able to complete missions together.[1] The game takes place in Washington D.C. seven months after its predecessor, in which a civil war between survivors and villainous bands of marauders breaks out. In the beginning of the game, players create their own Division agent by customizing the character's gender and appearance.

This was on my grandson's list for a gift. He was so happy to get it he actually wanted me to watch him play for awhile. This never happens but I can say he has really enjoyed it, plus we have had conversations about his gaming. Who knew a game could open a conversation with a teenager.

I've practically sold my soul to this game now! There is so much replayability with four different story routes and so many lovable characters! I am currently on my third playthrough, and have 160 hours put into this game. Needless to say one playthrough took me 70 hours so make sure you are ready to invest a lot of time and tears for these characters and this story. Every playthrough gives you more information about the world, your characters origins, the other characters and their interactions and very different routes once you hit the post timeskip

I have played around 10 hours over the weekend and have thoroughly enjoyed my time. The strategic battles are fantastic and the ability to talk to nearly everyone in the game in between battles is incredible. I have not had this much fun with an RPG since Octopath traveler came out. Just go out and treat yourself you will not regret it.
